That's so awesome! I hope you've got a hard copy of it -- it would be a cool thing to have on your mantlepiece. Do you know the guy in it?

Uncle Mike -- I'm still thinking about the romance novel on which we are going to collaborate. I've thought of these professions for the woman: a postal worker, a manager at a Kum and Go (this is a gas station common in Iowa), a plumber, or an officiator at a drive-in wedding chapel. For the man, I think I've got it narrowed down to: a truck driver, a professional beer pong player (who is looking into breaking into the vodka pong sport), or a carnie. All of your suggestions are welcome! :D

By the way, I voted for you guys to go to the Caribbean. I couldn't help but notice that 'Iowa' was not an option. Why is that? EVERYONE wants to vacay in Iowa, especially right now. With the temperature at 3 degrees, with a brisk wind that brings it well into the negatives, what's not to love?

Love you guys!
Janelle

P.S. The little security letters I had to type in was 'WTFMAN'. Something I commonly say!

Hey Janelle!!
For your novel I vote for a postal worker as the profession of choice for a woman because of all the different directions you could take the story. It has rained every day this week UGH!!! Hopefully we will get some sunshine this weekend. Are you staying warm? LOL!!! When are you finished with school? Are you going to move back to CA after school? Do you ever hear from Viola? I know she is in Spain but she hasn't e-mailed or anything for over a year.
Lets' see if I can ask 20 questions...LOL!! Just kidding. Have to get back to work!! Seeeeee ya!
Love,
Aunt Teri

Hey, Aunt Teri!

I haven't actually heard from our favorite Viola, but I've never been on her email subscription list. I'm very curious about her plans for next year, so I should ask Aunt Kim, yeah?

And I'm finishing up with my B.A. this semester. Yes, I'm staying in Iowa; I hope to get into their creative writing program and earn my master's. Also, I am most certainly not keeping warm. It was -23 last night. It's kind of weird, though, because today it was about 15 degrees, and tonight it's about -10, but I can't even tell the difference! Temperature wise, it's about the difference between 30 degrees and 55 degrees, and I can definitely tell the difference then, but it's almost like it becomes a cold so intense that the actual temperature could have a 25 degree difference. I don't think it makes sense at all (both how I'm describing it, and how it actually is). Anyway, despite the cold, it is quite beautiful here. The snow is very deep, and the ice surrounds the trees.

I love you guys, and I hope you are doing well.
